Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG 2020 – Castellinuzza and Piuca

The Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG by Castellinuzza and Piuca is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes grown in the Piuca vineyard, located at over 600 meters above sea level in the Greve in Chianti area. Vinification takes place in concrete vats, followed by twelve months of maturation in used tonneaux and a rest period of at least six months before bottling.

In the glass, it displays a ruby ​​color tending towards garnet, intense aromas of raspberry and cherry, and a structured, savory palate with smooth tannins. Serve at 18°C ​​(64°F), it is ideal with Florentine steak, roast red meats, and aged cheeses. Alcohol content is 13% ABV, bottle size 0.75 L, bottle weight 1.35 kg.
