Colosi Malvasia delle Lipari Passito Cudì – Sicilian Sweet Wine

Malvasia delle Lipari Passito “Cudì” is a sweet DOC wine produced by Cantine Colosi on the island of Salina (Aeolian Islands, Sicily). Regulations require 95% Malvasia delle Lipari grapes and 5% Corinto Nero, grown on volcanic soil and subjected to natural drying to concentrate sugars and aromas.

The resulting wine is golden in color with coppery highlights. The nose reveals dried figs, honey, almonds, and mineral notes typical of the Aeolian terroir. On the palate, it is warm, velvety, and slightly tannic, with an alcohol content of around 13%. Best served at 12°C, it pairs well with dried fruit desserts, aged cheeses, or dark chocolate.
