Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Val di Suga – Red Wine
Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Val di Suga is distinguished by an intense ruby red color with garnet highlights. A complex aroma emerges on the nose: ripe red fruit, dark cherry, chocolate, balsamic notes, hints of chinotto, and a delicate violet, the result of the blend of the estate's three terroirs—galestro, clayey sands, and sunnier areas. On the palate, the wine is structured and velvety, with soft tannins and a long, persistent finish.
The blend comes from three estate-owned vineyards, fermented at 25-27°C with maceration for 20-25 days. It matures for 24 months in 50-hl Slavonian oak barrels, followed by 12 months in concrete tanks, and then further refined in the bottle. With an alcohol content of 13.5% ABV, Brunello is served at 16-18°C and pairs perfectly with red meats, rich pasta dishes, and aged cheeses.
