Vin Santo Santa Cristina DOC Valdichiana – Dessert Wine 12.5% vol

Vin Santo Santa Cristina is a DOC-certified dessert wine from the Valdichiana area of Tuscany. It is made from Trebbiano Toscano and Malvasia grapes, which are air-dried for four to five months to concentrate their natural sugars. After gentle pressing, the must ferments in oak barrels, primarily using traditional Valdichiana "madri" and selected yeasts.

The result is an amber-yellow wine with aromas of toasted hazelnut, honey, and apricot, and notes of dried fruit, chestnut flour, and hay on the palate. Aged for over two years, it has an alcohol content of 12.5% vol. It is recommended to serve it at 10-12°C, paired with dried fruit-based desserts or aged cheeses.
