Vin Santo del Chianti Classico - Volpaia 375 ml

Volpaia's Vin Santo del Chianti Classico is a meditation wine with a deep amber color. Made with Trebbiano (70%) and Malvasia (30%) grapes dried in February, it develops aromas of dried fruit, almonds, and figs, with subtle notes of dried apricot.

After fermentation, the must rests for at least five years in the Vinsantaia, an attic with a wide temperature range, to achieve a creamy consistency and an almond finish. Serve at 10-12°C, ideal with biscotti, panforte, or aged cheeses.
