Papeo Vermentino DOC Bolgheri 750 ml – White, Terre del Marchesato (Whites)

Papeo is a 100% Vermentino DOC Bolgheri, produced by the Terre del Marchesato winery in Tuscany. Vinification follows the method used for great red wines: the grapes are destemmed and macerated on the skins for four days in new French oak barrels, followed by continuous alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel. After fermentation, the wine ages on the lees in stainless steel for six months, ensuring a creamy structure and aromatic complexity.

In the glass, the wine displays a bright straw yellow color, with hints of jasmine flowers, medlar, and berries, accompanied by citrus notes and a light minerality. At 14% ABV, it is fresh and harmonious and should be served at 10-12°C. Ideal with fish, rabbit, white meats, and fresh cheeses.
