Centopietre Salice Salentino DOC - Red 2023

Centopietre Salice Salentino DOC Rosso, produced by Cantina Petrelli in Puglia, is a typical Salento cuvée composed of 85% Negroamaro grapes and 15% Malvasia Nera di Lecce. With an alcohol content of 14% vol and a 0.75 L bottle, the wine is recognized by the Salice Salentino DOP designation. It has an intense ruby ​​red color and on the nose releases aromas of ripe plum, cherry, dried figs, and a delicate note of licorice.

Aged for six months in French and American oak barriques, followed by two months in bottle, imparting a warm, smooth, and harmonious structure to the palate, with silky tannins. Serve at 18-20°C (64-68°F). It pairs perfectly with savory first courses, grilled red meats, and aged cheeses. Store away from light, in a cool place (12-16°C), and in a horizontal position to preserve the cork. Contains sulfites.
