Lageder Vernatsch Schiava – Red Wine 11% Vol

Lageder Vernatsch Schiava is a red wine made from 100% Vernatsch (Schiava) grapes, grown in the Bassa Atesina vineyards of Alto Adige (Italy). After fermentation, the wine ages for 12 months in stainless steel and wooden barrels, is filtered, and is certified vegan. It has an alcohol content of 11% vol and is bottled in 0.75 L bottles.

In the glass, it stands out for its ruby ​​red color with purple highlights, a fresh and fruity bouquet dominated by notes of violet, red berries, and a subtle hint of almond. It is ideal at 16-18°C, opening a few minutes before serving, and pairs well with red meats, rich first courses, and aged cheeses.
