Alois Lageder Versalto Pinot Bianco DOC Alto Adige – Vino Bianco Biodinamico

Versalto is Alois Lageder's pure Pinot Blanc, produced in the Alto Adige DOC zone. The grapes come from vineyards at approximately 500 meters above sea level, grown on stony, sandy, and calcareous soils and managed according to biodynamic practices. After harvest, fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, followed by nine months of aging on the lees to preserve the terroir's characteristic freshness and minerality.

The result is a straw-yellow wine with aromas of peach, pear, white flowers, and a delicate note of slate. On the palate, it is fresh, minerally, and savory, with a light spiciness and a good finish. Alcohol content 12% vol., 0.75 L bottle, serve at 12-14°C. The structure allows for a potential aging of over five years.
