Papeo Vermentino DOC Bolgheri – Terre del Marchesato White Wine

Papeo is a 100% DOC Bolgheri Vermentino, produced by the Terre del Marchesato winery in Tuscany. The winemaking follows the method of great red wines: the grapes are destemmed, then macerated with the skins for four days in new French oak barriques, before continuing alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.

The wine rests for six months on its fine lees in steel, developing a brilliant straw-yellow color and aromas of jasmine, loquat, wild berries, citrus notes, and a slight minerality. With a creamy and enveloping structure, 14% vol, it is fresh and harmonious, to be served at 10-12°C, ideal with fish, rabbit, white meats, and fresh cheeses. 750ml format.
