Château Gravas Sauternes 2023 – French sweet wine

The 2023 Sauternes Château Gravas is a dessert wine produced in the renowned Sauternes region (Bordeaux). Made from 100% botrytized Sémillon grapes, it has an alcohol content of 13.5% vol. and is aged for 18 months in oak barrels, giving the wine a golden yellow color and a complex bouquet of dried apricot, honey, and almond.

On the palate, it is velvety, persistent, and well-balanced, with a light mineral note typical of the limestone terroir. It is best served at 10-12°C (50-54°F), ideal with foie gras, blue cheeses, scallops, or fruit-based desserts. It can be cellared for 1 to 50 years, maintaining its structure and aroma.
